All Gingerbreads are Lose in the School This Week

We found out we we have an elf in our classroom this week. We had to give her a name and we voted on Snowflake.

Our elf gives us tasks that are kind and caring to others. We wrote a note and signed it for our principal, Mr. Pugh.

We played a math game called Make a Trade. We had to make trades with our ones and tens blocks. The first partner to get one hundred wins!

We were painting gingerbread friends. I made my gingerbread friends a cheerleader and a football player.

 This is when we learned about Pilgrims and The First Thanksgiving.

 There were two ships that sailed to the new land. Some of us went on the Mayflower and some of us went on the Speedwell.

 The Speedwell had to go back to England. These are the people who had to stay in England. 

 This is when we had to try to find corn. Lilly was the lucky pilgrim to find the corn. 

 We are playing Find the Hippo.

 We had to use ordinal numbers to describe where the hippo was.

 We are making pretzel houses. This was hard and it showed us what it was like for the Pilgrims to make houses.

 We are making clothing for our Native American play.

 This is me and my Native American clothing.
